I am placing this vote purely for strategic reasons. Being safe for the round, there is no reason to simply vote with the majority. This vote needs to accomplish two things. The first is that the person who is eliminated needs to be someone who I have not yet communicated with and/or someone who I haven’t bonded very well with. Those people need to be eliminated pre-jury. Otherwise, that will severely weaken my chances of winning if I make the finals. The second reason is to break up a potentially threatening group of players, and threatening can be defined in terms of challenge threats or in terms of a closely aligned group of players.
Eliminating several players could fulfill these criteria. After discussing the situation with Silas and basing my vote more on his preference than mine, which I am completely comfortable with because eliminating this person does fulfill these criteria, I have decided to vote for Stephenie. Stephenie appears to be close to Shii Ann, based on sharing the same AIM status and even through Shii Ann telling me that she knew Stephenie. Shii Ann is an intelligent player who is playing an under-the-radar game, although oddly admitting to me what she is doing and why, and weakening her influence by eliminating Stephenie is intelligent. But at the same time, there are potentially dangerous consequences next round once Shii Ann realizes what has happened and why.
However, I will overlook those potential consequences and place my vote for Stephenie.
If I am eliminated, I would like to give my gems to Silas.

After the failure of last round's vote, it is important to control the vote this round and not lose another person in my group of 6. I kind of feel like I can connect with the person who I'm voting for on a level that other people might not be able to. To a certain extent, I understand this person, and I enjoy her presence in the game. However, I have also lied to her in order to get information and gain her trust. I told Silas information that she told me, and I'm pretty sure that I've been caught lying and betraying her trust because Silas told others what I told him who didn't keep the information to themselves. So, Shii Ann's not going to be very useful to me anymore; she's not even trying to talk to me like she did so frequently before. Instead of risking warning her about the vote and trying to turn it against someone in the other group which could be an excellent move, I'm just going to settle on a target that both sides seem to want gone.
I vote for Shii Ann.
If I am eliminated, I would like to give my gems to Silas.

After the last two votes, I'm honestly doubtful as to whether or not the intended target will leave. The fortunate thing is that, besides maybe Russell, all of my allies are safe. So, this vote will be a positive no matter what, but it's best that someone close to the center of power is eliminated. Since Ace, Sugar, and Tracy have safety due to a positive outcome for them in the Robber Competition, Jerri is the strongest player remaining in the Ace-Jerri-Sugar-Tracy alliance that likely consists of Kelly now. Therefore, my group is making as strong of an effort as we can to eliminate Jerri, weaken the opposition, and strengthen our chances of furthering ourselves in the game.
I vote for Jerri.
If I am eliminated, I would like to give my gems to Marcus.

Oh, Sugar. We could have been excellent allies. I am sad that I will not have the opportunity to work with you in this game, but I HAVE to make this move right now. My alliance seems to be succeeding and is on the verge of completely controlling this game. This right here could be the key vote in this game that results in a series of boring, predictable rounds until we get close to the end and enter the realm of complete chaos.
You're a strong player who should certainly be jury, at minimum, and possibly a finalist. But the fact that you're clearly against the people who I'm working with and the fact that you're in a level above all of the others in challenges is why you absolutely need to go this round. I'm nervous about this vote and the possibility of success. But this might be the only chance we'll have at getting you out, so it's of the utmost importance that we succeed. Then our latest two additions will likely have no choice but to work with the three challenge gods and our silent but loyal fourth. And we can take everyone else out, round after round.
I am quite sorry, and if you end up surviving this vote, then I hope to get to know you better and potentially work with you later in the game.
I vote for Sugar.
If I am somehow eliminated as a result of some bizarre twist, I would like to give my gems to Silas.

We had a great conversation, and then you later failed to acknowledge it. So this is all personal. Haha, just kidding. You're just another example of a person who betrayed King Silas' trust by lying to us about voting for Shii Ann and never attempting to justify yourself, apologize, or fit back in with us. You've got a fun personality, and it'll be sad to see you go. But because Shii Ann and Stephenie are hardly threats and you are a slight threat, you need to go.
I vote for Kelly.
If I am somehow eliminated as a result of some bizarre twist, I would like to give my gems to Silas.

Ya know, you've had a fascinating presence in this game, but it's time for you to go at last. If you stay, I'll laugh so hard. Because you've basically been a target or the reason for a target every round this game, and you're still here. On jury. Ahhh. I thought that I kinda understood you, but I don't. At all. You're a huge wildcard. My gut says you wouldn't distribute any of your gems to me on the jury if I make finals because I was an obvious threat the whole game. You'd go for an under the radar player to win. And I may have made you mad for other reasons.
So, yeah, that's why I'm voting for you. Goodbye!
EDIT: I guess that I should say who I'm voting for. Shii Ann.

Pre-Decision/Speech for If I Don't Make the Deadline (When is the deadline btw?)I was going to prepare a longer speech addressing all of you, but I've decided to make this short and sweet. Congratulations on making it to the final five, and good luck. I hope to learn more about your strategies and why you made the moves that you did at the final execution so that I can help decide on the best winner. I have decided to give Brett and Marcus two gems a piece. Considering everything including recent events, this move makes the most sense to me.

So, the jury process has made me come to the realization that these people both played better games than I did. I planned to come into the game “solid” at the challenges but not the best, communicate with everyone, and put myself in a position where I’d be a swing player at times because I’d have strong working relationships with everyone. I failed to do that. Even though in my confessional, I talked about betraying the people who I was closest to and even had chats with other people in the game about that, I didn’t. I just grew too attached to Marcus and Silas; I was loyal to them and somewhat loyal to Brett and Russell as well until I was ousted. And I didn’t hold back at all in the challenges, often taking work from players like Marcus, Silas, or Russell, and claiming the wins because of their effort, which made me a much larger threat than I should’ve been. My game was very, very morally clean. Which is rewarding in ways, but it’s not what I needed to do to win.
Anyway, I have read over everything, and I feel completely confident that Russell is the player who deserves to win this game. I’ve actually felt that way since midway through the game, and I’ve given Tracy a chance to show that she played better, but I haven’t seen enough evidence to convince me of that. However, I’m just one person a jury of seven, so I’m not just going to give Russell all of my gems to try to influence the vote in his favor. Tracy stepped up when she needed to at the end of the game, and she played a strong enough social game to get players to give her gems when they were eliminated. But one of the reasons why she made it far was because she wasn’t perceived to be one of the top challengers, and…it didn’t seem to be a strategy that she consciously employed according to her answers. Even though I do think that semi-consciously, she didn’t fight hard until she needed to, according to her, she tried to win challenges every round…but that would’ve just made her go earlier if she ever succeeded. Plus there were times when she received gems from players who just wanted Team Silas to fail. Regardless of her justification, I still feel the same way about my gem distribution. Russell had a significant part every round of the game from start to finish and made just about every strategic switch in the game happen that happened. He didn’t stand out, but he was (almost) always there, always thinking, and always making the right moves to advance. And I hope that he wins this game.
5 gems go to Russell. 2 gems go to Tracy.
