Even though I'm not officially executed, since I'm essentially dead anyway, I'll post these to get the process over with and move on to focusing on the end of the game and picking the winner!
It's difficult for me to personally evaluate what kind of game that I played. It was quite strange, and I'm sad to not have been able to expand my game to include more players since I didn't get to talk to everyone. From the beginning, I picked Silas as my primary ally. After a difficult start, we formed a group and, through teamwork in the challenges and intelligent decision making, were able to take control of the game from a group that looked certain to sweep us out initially. I'm proud of what we accomplished and feel like I was an integral part of our success.
Now at this point in the game, no one should feel safe because everyone's a potential target every round. I wasn't foolish enough to think that I was safe, although I did think that Tracy would likely choose to take Silas out if she won. I've stuck with my core group fairly loyally but did take some extra steps to watch my back in case others outside of the group won including contacting Sugar, Rocky, and Tracy after they won competitions to try to ensure my safety. It worked with Sugar, who I then betrayed the next round. It kind of worked with Rocky, although I don't think he quite grasped the angle I was trying to connect with him, and then I betrayed him the next round which made him upset. It didn't work with Tracy here, but I respect her immensely for her decision. As far as keeping the group together and breaking them up, I had mixed thoughts on that throughout the game. I thought there were potential reasons for concern with certain members throughout the group and may or may not have correctly identified them. But ultimately, I have complete respect for everyone who I've worked with for whatever actions that they made and the reasons why they made them. I hope they all take this in good fun and are not offended by anything that I've done that may not have been completely loyal to them because I'm ultimately in this for myself.
I'm sad that I wasn't able to completely focus on the challenges the last round, but again, that was unavoidable, and my strategy should have been better to accommodate for a worst-case scenario loss.
So with that long speech, I'll say goodbye. It was a fun game, and I look forward to being involved in another game of this type and possibly play with a more aggressive, less-boring strategy!
